Abstract

The authors present the case of a 32-year-old woman, with acute alcoholic hepatitis(AAH), severe ionic changes and ventricular tachycardia torsade de pointes. Treatment with magnesium sulphate and the use of corticotherapy for AAH are the subjects for discussion.
